Laika-girl learned a lot of important things: ants can be nasty, fallen trees can be slippery, digging a tunnel under a fallen tree to climb through envolves a lot of work, eating Henna's food will make Henna angry, eating shoes is not allowed, travelling in a box in the car is very boring, peeing inside is "EI!" (=no), so I pee outside because that is lots and lots of "HYVÄÄ!!!" (=well-done), if I sit down when I am told to I get food, if I bite people they will say "ouch!", if I bite Henna in the nose too much she will push me over on my back, tiles are not dangerous although they can be slippery, I am not allowed to bite other people when I want to say "hello", if I try to eat all those goodies in the rubbish the humans will get angry and, coming to think of it, I'm to tired to remember what else I learned!

Laika in Germany
Laika had no trouble getting along with family in Germany. She never tried to hurt the family cats either. She just couldn't understand why the cat wouldn't play with her. So after a while she decided licking the cats nose to say "hello" would do. Laika had no problem giving some of her food to the cat. However, at some point she decided the cat had to return the favour and took a mouse the cat had caught as a snack before breakfast.
The only annoying thing about Germany was, that we were constantly told that she is a "dangerous fighting dog" and that when she is grown she will be dangerous and aggressive. We tried our best to tell people that will most likely not be the case but to no avail. In the end we took Laika and Henna to an Open Air concert with lots of people and lots of noise. After a while when Laika had found the place she liked best - pretty much at the front and in the middle of hundrets of people - she lay down on the ground and decided to take a nap. A lot of people were astonished at that kind of behaviour.
