O'Zone Fidji

One day I took Henna to a show. That way I was infected by the "dog show virus"
and have developed a passion for going to shows and looking at other dogs and see if a judge agrees that my dogs are the
best and most beautiful dogs in the entire show. Because to me they are! And I don't particularly care if others disagree.
If a judge has a different opinion than that's ok for me. To me it's a hobby I have fun with and I am
not going to ruin the joy of it by getting too focused on judgings - although of course I am very happy if a judge agrees
that my dogs are the best!
Unfortunately Laika has a habit of refusing to run in the show ring. She thinks the whole point of trotting
is to jump at her handler and avoid walking on four feet. After all, the front legs are kind of like arms, right?
So what kind of strange person has come up with the idea that humans run with two legs and she is supposed to run
on four legs! Silly girl. She just can't understand why her stubbornness won't change the way dog shows work no matter
how much she misbehaves.

[unfortunately this judging consists primarily of abbreviations and so I may not get all of it accurately, however, it should give a general idea still I hope.]

[unfortunately this handwriting is a little "chicken scratch" AND it is finnish. So this is very hard for me to make sense of it but I think I get the jist of the judges comments]

- good head, paralell lines

- straight shoulders
- strong/straight elbows
- good front and chest curvature but still a bit narrow
- appears to develop good flank; so far somewhat weak but other than that good loin
- movement difficult to judge

- [Laika decided if Outi wants to run in circles she was happy with her doing that and she would go home in the meantime. Besides little, noisy dogs are a real pain in the rear and she wants to go and shut them up rather than stand still for some person to just look at her. She ran a bit better with Hanna (Baku & Dascha).

I think she was handled very well, much better than I could have done myself and I am extremly grateful for the help with handling, this dog simply doesn't want to run properly.... and never has...]
